stuck in a predestination paradox loop

“Distinction between Past, Present, and Future is only a stubbornly persistent Illusion!” — Albert Einstien.

We trust that time is linear. We believe yesterday, today and tomorrow are consecutive and flows unidirectionally but what if they are all connected in a never-ending loop. Generations after generations we evolve and get better of our previous mistakes, meaning the Future is being influenced by the Past but what if the Past is also influenced by the Future.

Predestination paradox is a time travel paradox that occurs when a person's actions while traveling back in time cause the events they were trying to prevent or influence

Let’s say there’s a brilliant scientist named Alice who invents a time machine. One day, she’s trying to figure out how she came up with the idea to invent it in the first place. She remembers vaguely that someone handed her the plans years ago but can’t recall who it was. Curious, she decides to go back in time to investigate.

  1. Alice travels back to the past to the exact moment she remembers receiving the plans. But she’s surprised to find no one else there.
  2. Thinking quickly, she decides to leave a copy of her plans behind, reasoning that maybe her past self just misplaced them.
  3. Sure enough, her younger self stumbles upon the plans she left behind, gets inspired, and goes on to invent the time machine.

but that seems to simple...

Suppose one fine day you were walking towards home from school when you saw a middle-aged man lying down. You got near him and he said, “Take this book and read.” Moments after, he passed away.

You got home and opened the book. It has shocking content. The book explains the whole process of building a time machine. You laugh at first but the thought haunts that it was the last request of a deceased person.

You follow the whole instruction on the book and finally after 15 years you were able to build the time machine. To test the machine, you traveled 15 years back and got so amazed that you have time-traveled, you had a cardiac arrest.

At final moments, you can see a boy running towards you. You give him the book. Yes… that boy is Young-you. You passed yourself the book.

Not Loopy enough

Jake and Jenny were a happily married couple with a sweet little family, including their daughter, Amanda. As time passed, Amanda grew up, fell in love, and married. She eventually gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. But on the very night their daughter was born, tragedy struck. A mysterious time traveler appeared and took the baby away, leaving Amanda and her husband heartbroken. The stolen baby girl grew up in an orphanage, never knowing her true origins. As the years went by, she became a young woman named Jenny, who eventually met and married a man named Jake. Together, they had a daughter—a little girl they named Amanda. And so, in a strange twist of fate, Jenny's daughter Amanda is actually her own grandmother, creating a family loop that defies time itself.
